This is My Story
I love St Augustine and have lived here for 22 years. In that time I’ve lived on Villano Beach, Downtown, in historic Lincolnville, St Augustine South, St Augustine Shores, out west by the St Johns River, and now reside just west of downtown off of Masters Drive.
I know the neighborhoods, the market and the trends. I enjoy helping buyers find that perfect fit and to realize their dream of home ownership. I enjoy helping first-time buyers, investors, snowbirds, people new to the area and growing families.

I also enjoy helping sellers redeem a home that has been part of the tapestry of their lives in order to proceed to their next chapter.
I realize, in both scenarios, that trust, care and service must be the cornerstones of my business. I honed these skills in my previous work-life as a landscaper. For 10 years I worked for hundreds of families and managed dozens of accounts that stayed with me for years.
I sold my company years ago and while I still love plants and gardening, these are now hobbies as selling homes is my full-time profession.
In fact I’m currently completing the Florida real estate Broker course, after which I will be a broker associate. That means that I’ll have the credentials and expertise of a broker, but will act as a sales associate as I do now. I also have an AA degree from St Johns River State College.
I have been selling homes for 4 years, but have spent that time on the Northeast Coastal Team at RE/MAX Coast 2 Coast under the watchful eye of my team leader, the very successful Shelby Spinneweber.
She is a seasoned and successful 12 year agent. Her guidance and tutelage have supercharged my development as a professional sales agent. Thus I have sold and listed bank-owned homes, short sales, Riverfront homes, condos, oceanfront homes, fixers and everything in between. I liken the team experience to that of a journeyman learning his craft in a guild. I have learned from an expert teacher, a luxury not afforded to all agents.
On the personal side, I have a girlfriend of 7 years and we have 4 cat-children. Heather, my girlfriend owns a massage studio called Sphere (http://www.sphereheals.com), at 58 Spanish Street in the historic district of downtown St Augustine. It’s an amazing place and they do great work.
We could have chosen from any number of established neighborhoods like St Augustine South or one of the new developments of SR 16, but preferred living nearer to downtown where we both work.
For me, I prefer the up and coming neighborhood which I call ‘the New Lincolnville’ where we purchased our home a year ago. It’s a short bike ride to downtown, my office, RE/MAX Coast 2 Coast at 93 King Street, and everything the downtown has to offer.
In my free time I ride through downtown and over the Bridge of Lions on my way to Anastasia Fitness to play racquetball with friends and to lift weights. When appropriate I may bike to a showing, an inspection or a closing.
For me, this outdoor casual downtown lifestyle is an integral facet of a balanced life. Being close to the beach is a plus too. I volunteer at a local cat sanctuary, SAFE on A1A near the beach as well.
To sum up, selling home is serious business, but for me is a personal affair. I take the concerns of my buyers and sellers seriously and treat them like family, like I want to be treated.
